Originally from a small town in upstate New York (Woodstock ✌️). I began my design journey when I was still in high school by helping out local businesses in my hometown building either their first website or redesigning their outdated site. It was really rewarding helping small business owners grow their business and sparked a love for design that I have to this day.
Throughout the years I continued to work as a freelance web designer no matter where I was in life; be it school, working in other fields, or traveling abroad. My passion for design has always been consistent.
I’m very grateful for all of the opportunities that working as a freelance web-designer has afforded me; however, at this point in my design journey I’m interested in shifting over to a UX focused career. After learning about the UX/UI design process over the past few years, I’ve found that it is more in line with what drew me to building websites in the first place.
I’m very excited to see where this new stage of my career takes me, the connections that I’m able to make along the way, and how I’ll be able to further evolve my design skills.
Aside from design, some of my other interests include being an avid reader, cinephile, traveler, gamer, and painter.
